Humans have such a twisted mindset of love, sometimes.

(Not referring to anyone, and myself included)

In the name of love, people tend to justify their actions and feelings. They do things out of their so-called love without realising what they are doing is actually hurting the other person.

But love isn’t self-centered, and love isn’t possessive.

Love should never seek to control, because that will only lead to suffocation.

Love does not dictate and love does not break boundaries.

Love puts others before self,

and love thinks for the other person more than your own feelings/needs.

Love does not seek to satisfy itself at the expense of others.

Love on the other hand, should liberate.

It’s ironic that as much as we love and hold on to a person so tightly (which is not wrong), love is also setting a person free.

The more we control a person, the more the person will feel like withdrawing.

One of those days I’m so thankful to God for placing this man in my life. X

I’ve realised that the the older we grow, the smaller our world becomes.

Because of all the people that will cross our paths, only a few will withstand the test of time, and only those few will be the ones worth keeping.

Less is more, and few is enough.

I think I like him already!
