Thinking back on my SOT days in 2012. I enrolled myself into SOT rather last minute, with a pretty messy heart and was still in the midst of a bad transition. Several things went ‘wrong’ along the way but as I look back, those were the days God cleaned up my messy heart and restored to me a pure and simple heart. It was also the period I entered into my dream of working in office. God has chosen to use me when I wasn’t in the best state as a team leader … and to me that was the greatest sign of His grace.
Those were the days I learned that God uses the weak and the unqualified. Those were the days God began to put in me a genuine heart for people, the internationals especially.
I’m forever thankful for SOT 2012.
We can be so used to the abnormal, that the abnormal becomes our normal.
