For a long time, she found herself in a constant state of happiness. So strangely happy, that she thought it was too good to be true. She felt like she had all she always wanted, though it wasn’t much. Everything was just so in place, that she had nothing else she would ask for.
But deep down she knew, everything had been too “okay”, too scarily okay that she knew something must be wrong, or might just go wrong soon.
True enough the day came. That bubble she was in broke, and reality set in quicker than she could expect. The few things she held on so tightly to, she would soon need to learn to let go.
That was when she finally understood a new state of life, and that’s brokenness. She knew that something in her needs to be broken, so that her happiness will never be determined by things, but the One who lovingly broke her.
